Since cutting down the hours I spend at work, I have more time to enjoy experimenting, learning and developing my art.
Using watercolour has always been a pleasurable challenge, and various workshops and courses I have attended over the years have encouraged me to combine this with charcoal and other mediums, particularly when working with landscapes.
Most recently I have become very involved with printing techniques, specifically linocutting. Carving my designs into lino block gives me satisfyingly graphic images, which I am continuing to exploit and explore.
The Print Workshop at Gainsborough's House has inspired and supported me here in Suffolk, along with many other organisations and printmakers.
Creating my art is my pleasure, hopefully it gives others pleasure, too.
